UN Global Compact
Since September 2007 we are a member in the UN network "Global Compact", under the patronage of the United Nations (UN). The aim of this voluntary association is to strengthen the cooperation between the United Nations, the private sector and other social actors and to make this cooperation usable for the enforcement of the main targets of the UN.
Companies taking part in the network avow themselves to support and enact the Global Compact's ten principles. These principles defined by the UN are derived from the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, the International Labour Organization's Declaration on Fundamental Principles and Rights at Work, the Rio Declaration on Environment and Development and the United Nations Convention Against Corruption.
Each company are requested to report annually about the taken arrangements to realise the principles.
